Trade it in??? 2009 rdx tech for 07 tl type s 6spd

i currently own a 2009 rdx with tech package with only 65xx miles, which i bought brand new last summer/fall

im currently looking at a 07 tl type s 6 spd with 315xx miles (silver/taupe), currently on sale for $27k, also a certified one owner car.

i have a couple of questions. what is the real world mpg on the 6spd type s?

do you guys have any complains regarding the tl type s?

would it make a difference on my rdx trade in value if i added a viper remote start and the 19" acura wheels?

thanks!

You'll get better mileage with the TL Type-S.

I see. How much do you owe on the RDX?

I don't think it'll hurt the value of the truck, but why would you want to put an aftermarket alarm and upgraded wheels on a car you want to trade in? You'd be wasting money.

as for the wheels and alarm, its already on the rdx...

i can probably ask the alarm shop to take it out and install into the new one.

Considering the fact that RDX is already fully paid out, you might want to try and sell it to a private party using craigslist, autotrader, etc. In a private sale both parties usually win by you as a seller getting more than the dealer would offer you on trade-in, while the buyer would most likely pay less than what dealers sell for.

Keep the RDX. With no lein on the car, this puts you in a WONDERFUL fiscal position, I would take that any day of the week.

^^ Agree here. Keep the RDX for things you need a bigger vehicle for (camping, hauling stuff, whatever). The back seat on the TL doesn't fold down. So limits you a bit on hauling large items. So, keep the RDX and get the TL to play with.

Holy cow don't trade the new paid off car in for an older car. That's crazy. If anything sell it on your own. I would rather have no car payment than a new car payment any day.
