tracking a thread

how do you track a thread so you can easily come back and read new posts or updates?

is the subscribe to the thread feature in the tools how you do this?

thanks

For the beginner, you could try this...

On the upper-right corner, there is a button "Thread Tools", hit it, and choose "subscribe to this thread". Next page, you could select "Notification Type" and "Folder", and hit "Add Subscription".

Next time, click "User CP" on the upper-left corner, you will be able to see all the updated subscription.

Plus, "Notification Type" could be pre-set up in the 2nd section's "Default Thread Subscription Mode" which is inside Edit Options of Settings & Options of Control Panel. For exampel, if you pick "No email notificaiton", you will automatically subscribe any thread you've posted/replied, and the acura-tl.com will not inform your register email account of the new update. However, while you click "User CP" next time, all your subscription will be listed. Of course, if you like, you could choose other options (Instant email notification, Daily email notification, or Weekly email notificaiton), but "Do not subscribe".
