How many of you have actually used this feature and did your TL come with one?...I read the owners manual on this but can't find where it reads that the TL has one included or where is the hook stored?...

 

Hopefully you will never have to use it, but it is there. The tow hook is in the compartment with the spare tire. Good thinking, eh?

Also, I noticed in the owner's manual that it says to push the bumper plug to remove it, not to pry it out like you have to do with the license plate plugs. Knowing this might save someone from a scratched bumper.

 

It's stored with your rear tire..and it screws into the front bumper. One AZiner reported it snapped as the flatbed was pulling his car onto it!!

 

LOL... the hook snapped or the bumper snapped! that sucks!

 

I think it was the tow hook that snapped...left half of it still in the screw hole or something. Hope I dont ever have to use it
