Touch-Up Paint

Touch-Up Paint
This may have been mentioned before, but I have never seen it. If anyone has ever used touch up paint on their cars you know how difficult it is to get the paint into the scartch without having the touch-up paint just sit there on the paint. Well I had a small scatch on my TL and I carefully put the first very thin coat on the paint after washing the area and then cleaning it with a q-tip covered with alcohol. Well after I put the first very thin coat on and watched it for about a minute I was not happy with it so I grabbed the alcohol saturated q-tip and rubbed the white paint off the car. Instead of removing the paint I totally covered the scatch with the paint and removed ithe remainder of the touch-up paint from the virgin paint. I looked at the area where the scratch had been and could not see the scratch or where the touch-up paint had been added. Hope this works for those with minor scratches.
