Totaled 2004 Acura TL

Totaled my vehicle.

Progressive incorrectly listed the mileage of my vehicle as 215,000 when my vehicle has 170,000.

They are offering for my vehicle $5,630.89.

Which is way too low of an offer.

KBB has listed my vehicle as $6,941.

How do I get them to pay me what my vehicle is worth.

They rated my vehicle as 3 Good.

Sorry to hear.

Tell Progressive the offer is too low. Correct its errors. Give Progressive comparable retail sales prices.

Is the regional value higher or lower than normal for your TL? Use it to your advantage

are you sure that your vehicle does not have odometer roll back? normally the payment from the insurance is at market value. E.G I totaled my Legend because someone ran a red light KBB and Nada at the time is around $3500 insurance cut me a check for $5500. My brother 2000 GS300 value $6800 at the time of totalled (someone rear ended him) insurance offer him $8600. Current condition of the vehicle does play a huge roll with the insurance adjuster.

I spoke to the claim adjuster and they said find comparable vehicles
to show their boss, but their offer is non-negotiable.

After I get the mileage sorted out with them I should get more money.

And I am going to argue the following vehicles with them.

I have come up with the following vehicles for them to compare. I have a 150 mile radius and I can only use cars being sold at dealers.

-2004 Acura TL (Without Navigation) with 182,101 miles. Price $9,999.00. (Equipment adjustment should be factored in to increase this vehicle price as my vehicle has navigation.)

This vehicle is 115 miles away.

2004 Acura TL , $9,999 - Cars.com

-2004 Acura TL (Without Navigation) with 133,397 miles. Price $9,995.00. (Equipment adjustment should be factored in to increase this vehicle price as my vehicle has navigation.)

This vehicle is 84 miles away.

2004 Acura TL , $9,995 - Cars.com

-2004 Acura TL (with navigation) with 159,831 miles. Price $7,999.00.

2004 Acura Tl 3.2 w/Navi 4dr Sedan In Pennsauken Cherry Hill Burlington J&C AUTO OUTLET LLC

This vehicle is 139 miles away.

-2004 Acura TL (Without Navigation) with 137,661 miles . Price $8,995.00 (Equipment adjustment should be factored in to increase this vehicle price as my vehicle has navigation.)

2004 Acura Tl In Baltimore Washington Baltimore King Motors

This vehicle is 30 miles away.

I want at least $7,000 minus deductible.

What's my shot?

They are severely low-balling me.

Play hardball with insurance, they will eventually give.

They tried the same with me a few years back, when they showed me all their comparable vehicles, they were all salvage title cars on Craigslist.

out of all insurance progressive is one of the shittiest insurance company that and all state Just tell them instead of send you a check for total lost just buy you another TL with similar mileage, same year and see how much it cost them Honestly the price that they offer you isn't bad compare to Texas price for a TL with that much mileage. Either way looks like you can try to budge them but I don't think you will win.

If you can show receipts for repair/maintenance work that cost significant money this can be considered in the value of the vehicle. It has worked for me a few times.

This can be for tires, timing belt service, shocks, body paint, battery, windshield, ...

I told them that. They said they don't take into account regular maintenance items such as the items you indicated above.

I have Progressive.

DAmn,..Progressive does suck. When I had Geico and my accord was totalled. I presented receipts for my radio, tires, hid ballasts, projector headlights,struts/springs and tints. Lets just say they reimbursed me about 75 percent of the cost of items purchased.
They then went after state farm to re-coup their loss.

May or may not matter but was this you at fault or someone else? Sometimes that has some bearing on how much they pay too..

Of course they're going to say it's 'non-negotiable', did you expect them to say, "Here's our offer, but if you really twist our arm, we're willing to give you about $2000 more.. suck our dicks, and it's another $1000"?

Why not simply get them to relook at your odometer and correct the 45K mistake?? Or am I missing something?

I would think that would make a sizeable difference as 45K is roughly three years of driving. You should also be armed with all of your due diligence work related to local pricing from dealers for replacement.

I have done this. I sent them 6 comparable vehicles with mileage ranging 182,101 to 133,397. With prince range from $9,999.00 to $7,999.00.

I've been searching all weekend, and only found a few cars with mileage within range of mine.

They are using 150 mile radius.

This is what I found and sent them. They said they will forward this to the estimator for review after they correct my mileage.
