Total mileage on your new TL
I had my car for about 3 weeks now and already have 1,800 miles on it ![EEK!](https://acurazine.com/forums/images/smilies/eek.gif)
I always have the MPG/MPH MID tuned in so I don't always check the odometer. Every time I check it, it seemingly jumps 500 miles
Anyway, it's been less than a year since the new TLs started appearing. Who on this forums has driven their TL the hardest? I wonder if anyone has over 20k miles on it yet? Or over 30k??

Mine is pretty much just a weekend/trip car.
Got it on 6/25, was on vacation for two weeks, and as of this weekend it has a little over 1,000 fun miles.
I'll be putting around 200 miles on this weekend, and making a few trips to northern NJ from Long Island during the month, so I'll put on a decent bit of mileage in August.
Regards,

782 miles since July 9 - I am pretty particular where it goes. No where near a packed parking lot or dirt roads. Wife drives the car during the week and I drive my truck. Try to keep the miles low....

I wish you never had to caculate the mileage. I HATE HAVING TO WORRY ABOUT HOW MANY MILES I PUT ON THE CAR. I WANT TO ENJOY IT AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE BUT I CAN'T!!!!!!!!. They should invent a car that could have unlimited mileage so it doesn't deprecaite by miles but by age. I have had my car since 05/06/04 and have almost 3,500 Miles. I hate not being able to drive it all the time because of this. Otherwise I would have a lot more.

As I have stated before, I don't understand the people bent on preserving their TL. It is a mass-produced sedan, not a classic or exotic.
Drive it all you want, they will make more. I drive my NSX more frequently (and harder, but I guess that goes w/o saying) than some of these 'TL Preservationists'.
You know what my friends call my (leased) TL?

Today, I thought I will see dozens of ppl having more than 20k mileage, No, instead, I see ppl are just posting how many mileage they're having now.
Slava was asking "Who on this forums has driven their TL the hardest? I wonder if anyone has over 20k miles on it yet? Or over 30k??"
Where are those ppl driving hard and a lot? Please show up.
P.S. Two freiends in CA and one in AL have put 20k+ into their 04TL already. Two of them are approaching to 30k. We all got 04TLs on Oct/03, mine only has 15k now.

in philippines, they determine the value of used cars by its year and model and hardly the mileage. at least that's what my cousin says. so if you were to sell a 2004 TL w/ 10,000 miles and a 2003 TL w/ 5,000 miles, you'd probably get more for money for the 2004 TL. so you can sell your TL there

you will also expect many californian TLers to have high mileage since every m-fing place is far as hell. kinda funny that my uncle visited from chicago and he asked how far LAX was from my house and my response was "oh it's pretty near. about an hour and a half". his jaw just dropped, "that's not close by". well for us it's close, we're used to it. my work commute alone is a total of 110 miles a day.

Acquired 5/15/04 - 4,200 as of today. I, too, believe in "using" it. The insurance and depreciation clocks are ticking all the time. Makes no sense to be paying thoses costs w/o any return.

I've had mine for less than 2 weeks and have 2,000 miles on it. Perhaps I am not finance savvy enough so don't think about depreciation too much. I like to drive my car. It's the reason I bought it!
