Needs more Aspec badges :ugh:....MDX front end ugggh. How about 330 hp

truonghthe 04-15-2017 04:08 PM

HELLL NAH...... Acura chief designer is drunk again?

sockr1 04-15-2017 05:31 PM

I think it looks ok but I still won't give this a buying thought unless it had more hp or a 6mt. 290 is way too low for this time and age and this level of car. Hell my 2008 type s came with only 3 hp less from the factory TEN years ago

YungMoola15 04-15-2017 09:41 PM

I agree, Acura/Honda is lagging behind.

They need to bring out a RWD sportster, maybe a new s2k..... ehhh?

Man Im drooling already, I really want them to reproduce a new s2k

llllBULLSEYE 04-16-2017 10:20 AM

Man it only has 10 more hp then the 08 type S. take into consideration the extra weight and its
a slower car.
The new design is def way better and adding the exhaust tips helps a lot.

still not as nice as an 04 aspec that came out in late 2003 lol WHO IS DESIGNING THESE ACURAS????

justnspace 04-20-2017 06:33 AM

dont sleep on Hyundai!!!
they just released a "sport" model elantra for the interim. they are planning on releasing more powerful and beautiful cars than acura

I think a lot of the manufacturers/designers have fallen asleep. Everything looks so homogenous now. I applaud Hyundai/Kia no matter how they are perceived they have come a very long way with some compelling examples/alternatives.

I do wish Acura would offer it with a 6-speed. It would definitively be welcomed.

ReMiXeDg 04-24-2017 06:18 AM

Its a nice car but it looks a bit big like a mazda6, would of been nice if it had an option of 6spd but heck these days they don't want to produce any stick shift cars.
