The personal shot at "vetalik" was not necessary.

"vetalik" was just messing around ( I guess you didn't see the snicker icon)

I took the snicker as him finding tagging up other peoples property funny. Would you not be pissed if someone put a sticker on your car?

I'm done..

*clears throat (to avoid a stupid internet flame war that will get an otherwise cool thread locked)*

I have seen some modded TLs in our area - I see a white one at Champps every now and then - I wish I had a card or something with the web address on it

When you are talking about stickers and you say "slap an acurazine sticker on it," 99% of the people will be lead to belive that you are applying the sticker to car not placing it under the wiper, which the majority of us being car enthusiasts would have a problem with..

Mark- it was a joke. Get over it.

Don't shit all over this thread. 99% of the people didn't get pissed over the comment because they saw the icon following his statement.

HAHHA, i was thinking of having a post-it on the window that says
"Beautiful car, Join the AcuraZine Forum to get further information on Acura TLs. =]"

I only have one acurazine sticker... i wouldnt want to waste on a someone that wouldnt take a second glance at it.

I see several TLs that park away from everyone, including each other at work. I'm the only modded one around and I'm usually on the top floor where everyone thinks it's too far up. LOL And if I'm going to be in a public places with open parking, I park away from other cars, too, even other TLs since they tend to want to park close to the entrance.

Those are probably older people (that drive TLs) that park close to the entrance and around other folks. If I HAVE to park next to someone, I try to get a curb space, or to park next to an expensive car, or AT THE LEAST - avoid minivans or other cars that look like they have children! I'm sick widdit, as I even look inside as I park to see if they have "family-type stuff" inside. LOL!

Do you mean did I do it personally, or if it is in fact gone? Lemme answer both:

Removed
Someone else did it

Actually, I did it not too far from you, in Manassas. BUT, the guy who did it does government contracting and won't do it again because he said it took up too much of his time. And as for the biggest prep work, you have to cut out the middle bar and once you do it, there is NO GOING BACK! To restore it, you have to buy an all new bumper cover! So keep that in mind. That's why people don't do it like I did. They paint it instead. Screwing it up means buying a new bumper cover and starting over as well.

Show that to JJ! Everybody is like that who paints it. They may not tell you it happens, but it does. Catalog it under "routine maintenance".
