Cool The TL is Waxed

I have been reading alot of info in the TL community from Wheels/Tires to Bluetooth to playing DVD's but nothing on cleaning. Maybe I missed that thread. Having nice wheels or a bangin sound system won't do any good if the car looks like it's been in the elements for years. Did some research on Car Wax and have the result of the best to worst to use on your TL. I have tried this and so have many other guys I know that own Vettes, Porche and BMW's. They all agree that Zaino is by far the best product to date.

Zaino Z-2 Show Car Polish - $12.95 per bottle
Zaino Z-1 Show Car Polish LOK, "Pre-Cleaner and Gloss Conditioner" - $8.95 per bottle
Zymol NSX Glaze - $144.00 per jar
Zymol HD-Cleanse - $25.50 per bottle
Meguiar's Gold Class, Liquid Clear Coat Car Wax - $12.95
Zymol Natural Liquid Auto Polish - $20.00

FINAL RESULTS
First Place - Zaino Z-2 Show Car Polish
Second Place - Zymol Natural Liquid Auto Polish (maybe made by Turtle wax)
Third Place - Zymol NSX Glaze
Fourth Place - Meguiar's Gold Class, Liquid Clear Coat Car Wax

$144? Yo - it better come with a little hottie to rub it on for me! That's crazy for a wax. NXT trumps Gold Class.

BlackTiger, this subject is discussed a lot in Wash & Wax sub forum. Lot of Zaino supporters here including me. Click on my sig to see the shine.

Thanks for the Wash & Wax sub forum. Hey, took a look at your TL and the shine is super nice. You also mentioned that you have a Clearbra on hood, bumper and front lights. You have a photo of it or know where to take a look. I need a bra for my TL since I drive about 25 mins to work and the road shows no love to the front. My TL is only 2.5 weeks old and trying to keep it in the best shape possible.

NXT works pretty good for me. It's easy on easy off and it has a nice shine to it. You can also try S100 same as P21s it costs 1/3 the price and is easy to find at any Harley dealership.

A number of folks have had their tints and PPF done here and they were very satisfied with the product as well as the service. BTW, they are members of this forum. Send them a PM or email and they may be able to help you out. A good picture of clear bra can be found here or here.

Timed out on the edit .... about the wax/polish, there are a number of very good products available on the market with Zaino being the most popular among the forum members. Others prefer Klasse, Wolfgang, Pinnacle, P21S, Menzerna and 3M to name a few and are very satisfied with their results. What it boils down to is preparation. If the vehicle is not prepared correctly, the result of your work will be wasted regardless of the product used.

Here is one pic for you of the clearbra on NBP, you can see if you look right on the left fender about 7-8 inches from the headlight. If your NBP is new, I'd advise to get it installed ASAP.

why don't the clear bras ever cover the entire part? Meaning I have seen a lot of hoods and fenders that are 3/4 covered...why would the whole thing not get covered?

the sheets/rolls that the film come in are not big enough to cover the entire parts.
also, the pricing to do the entire hood is a lot of $$$.
