Is this a TL shift select knob?
I can't get an RL knob anymore so I ordered a TL knob because I thought they were nearly identical. Hmmm, not so much. Did they send me a TL knob or something else?

I think that is one of the accessory shift knobs. There is certainly a wood-grain style available for a TL, but I can't say 100% that the one you have IS a TL accessory knob.

Quality of picture sucks, but this is OEM TL wood shift knob. Looks like what you got.
Are you just wondering if its OEM, or some other issues you having? If its feels too high, just keep twisting it, eventually you will bottom out. Or take it off and use a cutoff wheel and take a few threads off.

Yeah, I'm wondering if it is OEM. The guys in the RL forum said the TL knob would be close enough to the RL as to be nearly identical. I guess not. Still I'd rather have a wood know than the leather knob so I think I'll keep it.
