Well fellas, I just got the tail and side marker today.... and slapped them on also fyi the connector for the 04-06 side marker light are different need to break the tab off to make it fit .... here is the result:

I wasn't aware that you had to break something!?!?!?
Will the connector come loose if you break the tabs!?!??

the 04-06 have smaller plug for the side marker light and the type S side marker plug is bigger.... the connectors are different size.... good thing if you're going from regular to type S, the connector fits inside the new plug not the other way around.... all i know is, the thing fit and i don't think it's gonna come loose I forgot to take some pix.... but when you pop the side markers out, you'll know what i mean

that depends on how well you know your service advisor... how much he's welling to hook you up... but for sure, the bumper needs to come off to get to the tail lights... the side marker is easy... get behind the lining and pop those babies out

So how hard is it to remove the bumper for this mod? Should I expect around an hour or two for the whole process?

Here is a video on how to remove the rear bumper from another member of the boards. Also, you don't have to completely remove it, just drop it down a bit to get to the screws..

I placed my order on the 26th and I'm still waiting. I sent an email yestarday and got a reply with an expected ship date of 8/7/07. So my guess is it will be a little bit. It's possible there was more orders placed than expected and stock got low? Ah well, I'm not in a rush, I can wait.

I ordered mine on the 25th and it arrived here on August 1st. Mine was shipped by UPS to Canada. So most likely they need to restock.

Thanks again to Tim for this deal! If I had known that he was in Buffalo earlier, I would have personally dropped by the dealership and picked up the set. Installed them yesterday and they look much better than the stock red tails!
