TL-S mufflers fit onto base TL?

Have base TL with a spec kit will TLs mufflers fit??

Stock? No.

You can make it fit by getting rid of the black plastic piece and widening the exhaust cutouts.

Yea it's a 2007 base TL with the a spec lip kit and when I bought lip kit I didn't know there was a difference between type s and base lip I figured they were both the same but now I figured out they aren't.....well shit I want to do type s exhaust but I didn't want to cut anything......

Then you will have to do the dual exhaust tip instead if you don't want to replace or modify the rear bumper.

If you do not want to mod the bumper i believe you have to get tips that are 6"-6 1/2" in width for it to fit on the base bumper.

Yea found some that are 3" tips comes out to a little less than 6 1/4" total hope they work!! But other people on here with same setup have pics posted of them and they look sweet haven't heard any problems yet so I'm going to go for it

Same tips as these 147 shipped just have to get them welded on they look pretty damn good if you ask me!!
