Ok, I was debating on which car to get. G35 or 2006 Aspec TL.. Went with the G because the TL sales rep didn't know shlt....
I asked for the Aspec version of the TL, blk on blk manual and fully loaded.. Dude wanted to sell me a base model, automatic and some dark blue color.
Anyways, i''m started to feel that I should have gotten the TL. Too many problems with the G35.. See SIG.
So, to the question... Can you guys Recirculate the cabin air w/o having the AC on? The stupid G35 requires the AC to be on to recirculate cabin air.. It even wants the AC on if I want to recirculate the air with the heater on.. WTF?

LOL ... i feel your pain bro .... as for the TL, there are two buttons: one is AC on/off, the other is cir. air inside/outside .... of course there are some combinations like you choose to vent the air to the front windows, then AC is on automatically ...

You can recirculate the air with the AC off.
There is no A spec "version" of the TL, it is a dealer installed accessory, same as body side molding or all season mats.

Ok thanks guys.. I should of gotten the TL. Because I had a Type R b4 and that car had a lot more "spunk" then my G.. The G feels stale and unconfortable to drive. The leather feels like vinyl and after 30min it gets very unconfortable.
So theres no Aspec version, but I wanted a sports version so in any case, the sales rep guy should of known how to sell me all the other goodies I wanted, instead of showing me a base AT model.

...depending on how much of a performance nut you are, you could always get the 06 6MT and supercharge it...probably still be less than a TL-S...just a thought

Anyways, it's good to know that Acura didn't fuk up their climate control system. Also, your navigation stystem is a lot better. My 06 G35 has an old school DOS operating system, joystick controlled Navigation system.
Instead of a Touch Screen, GUI interfaced...
I believe acura/honda went touchscreen back in 2004?

Acura has had touch screen since like 2000. Also the great thing is that you can use the navi while in motion unlike lexus, nissan, infiniti and other companies. Acura is for that garbage.
