I have a towel behind the front facing and a sheet covering the whole bottom of the seat. The car only gets torn up from my daughter. I'm 6'1" and the seat is in the perfect spot for her to kick the hell out of it. It's the girls you have to worry about, they're evil.[/QUOTE]
Thanks for sharing bro! Ya, I'm 6' and they are rear facing right now..but very soon they'll be front facing. They won't be in my car too much. But I need the option. What seats are those?

Ya, I have something like that in the pilot, but it goes up higher on the backside. For the TL, I have a whole backseat cover that's used for dogs, it goes all the to the floor and up the back of the front seats! That along w/something you've mentioned here will be used for sure!

I have the Recaro Pro Ride, it fits but rear facing it takes up a hell of a lot of space, had to move the passenger seat up a bit. Front facing it should be no issue but 99% of the time the seat is in my wife's car.

Congrats on the news! I definitely suggest having a car seat cover as others suggested to protect the leather from the car seat (and from any spills - it's inevitable). The one I used for my daughter's car seat is this: http://www.toysrus.com/product/index...ductId=3695514 but any similar product will do just fine, it's a matter of preference IMO. When she was born back in '07, car seat was facing rearward and was in middle seat; I'm 6ft and obviously leg room is a must - with driver's seat positioned to furthest possible spot it still had ample room for the car seat. Used the LATCH too.
