Helloooo! This is April!
Try that again? Were you a little slow pressing the "send" button?
The TL's are now in the 40,000s.
I don't have the requisite knowledge to answer your question.

Do you feel like you have a problem? Not everyone has the flatspotting or other problems with the tires.
There is a code on the tire. If it is OB6N PVC, you have the old tires.
If it is OB6N TU2, you have the new version.
Some people with the new version say they have the same problem as the old version.
Make sure you have the problem before you start to worry about it.

That is the other code I should have given you, but the one's I gave make a more positive determination. If your code is 0104, you have the old tires.
Tires with a code before 0504 (that is the 5th week of 2004) are the old tires, tires with a code 0604 and later are the new tires. We haven't seen an 0504 yet, which is why I gave the other codes but this will tell you also.

IMO, VIN # piror to 031030 could ask your dealer to check for you if you do have issues with EL42s.
