tints on leased TL
anyone have tints installed on a leased TL? i had tints on my last leased car and it wasn't that bad to remove when i returned the car...just patience...do you plan on returning your car with the tints on or are you going to rip them off?
also gotta go through the process of installing the felt for this car, then returning the car...
i plan on doing the felt myself though with the pre-made kit from flnsx

With my last leased vehicle, i returned it with part of an aftermarket stereo, an aftermarket wing (and a somewhat obnoxious one at that), exhaust, springs, and various other parts. The only thing that was noted during the pre-return inspection was a large scratch on the body, for which i had to pay about $200. Nothing was said about any of the modifications and the car went back with no problems. Tinting will certainly not be an issue.

I thought you've tinted your TL already 2 months ago. Without experiences and tools, the time you spend on tinting your windows may be more than the time you remove it in the end of your lease. IMO. The hardest part to tint would be the rear window...

Yea you wont have any problem. IN nov I turned in my Prelude with 35% tint all around, aftermarket stereo equipement (wires hanging everywhere) and a fart can exhaust. NO problems

Keep in mind that while these people are reporting no problems, and you'll likely have the same experience, the leasing company has every right to require that all mods be removed and the car restored to original factory specs. In the case of certain mods that could be a problem, such as a spoiler where you have to drill into the body. So just be careful about you do and realize that you cuold be the one who gets burned.
