nightshades is awesome.. i used it to do my tailights inside and it did a awesome job. If you are wanting that glossy shine then wetsand it spray it then buff and it comes as shiny as you want.

I have used Night Shades on a few cars with great results but I removed the lights to spray them.

On the TL it was a PITA to remove the bumper so I went with the film.

sprayed it bout 8 inches away..you dont want to spray to close or too heavy..it will run..just spray in light coats till you get the desired look you want.i have a 2g tl ...so the lights come.out easy...and i just buff it out with alot of elbow grease...i did 1500..then 2000...the scatch x will take out up to 1500 grit scrathes out

Yes they are precut. Once installed you do need to trim off the tabs used to hold them during install and a tiny bit off the edges in a couple spots, but it is very easy. Just run a blade along the outer edge of your light and it comes right off. Trimming is only required due to it stretching a little when installing over the curve.

i like the spray a lot more than the tint but the bumper is not hard at all to take off which in my case when i cleared my tail lights i just took out the two screws on each side holding the bumper to the car and then the two right at the trunk pulled the bumper out aittle and took the two bolts under the light out and there ya go no need of taking bumper off.

Hey man I know this thread is old but if you still need to remove the nightshades just use some mineral spirits, DO NOT use acetone lol this will eat through plastic and turn it very cloudy!

I used lamin-x before on my tl for my head and taillights and I took them off. It wasn't dark enough for what I wanted which was a dark tinted look...I just bought krylon tint spray at autozone, it was 13bucks and came out awesome. I did my headllights, taillights and sidemarkers...the only downfall is that it is pretty dark and it makes the lights hard to see during the day, but they're fine at night

The best method is to use a heat gun so that they will stretch...or a hair dryer and a lot of patience lol
