I'm considering tinting my new Silver TL. I'm considering a fairly dark tint, perhaps 28% or so, but I'd like to see how the car will look. Anyone got pics they can post? Please tell me your tint % along with your pic.

Also, if anyone knows good tint shops (who understand how to felt the TL window properly) in the SF Bay Area, please let me know where & what you paid. Thanks!

do a search for tint, someone posted huge pics on a SSM with 20% tint recently . it looks pretty sweet.

high nologic98 iam from NH and i have a oo tl silver with tinted windows and it looks great i had to first find a shop called tint it i had the rear window done the 2 back windows and the 2 in front . In NH trucks suvs can have 65% tint passenger cars are35% tint. And you will also need to have a doctors note saying why you need tinted windows up front. Now you take that and send it to the state and wait for your permission slip.3 times I sent a note from doctor . They still wanted to talk to my doctor on top of permission from my doctor.Tint guy said he would do the 2 up front without permissoin from the state . RICK D.

ps. be careful the tint will scratch they have to replace the molding with something called molehare something or another you can go to frequintly asked ques to find out exactly....by the way 15% is very illegal in maryland although only state cops are the ones to worry about.. the place i got mine tinted for fifty extra dollers gives you ins on your tint so if i get a inspection ticket they will take it off then replace after inspection, so far i have not had to use thank god hah hah

anyone have pics of the "executive" tint, where it's like 35% but mirrored so it looks darker than 35%?

35% is the legal limit here, but i'd like something "darker" and be able to pass my yearly inspection

any suggestions?

hey! a TL with the butt body kit and no others. i always wondered how that would look with only 1 or 2 of the kit parts.

im not sure i like the front end kit, but i definitely like the side and rear kits. ive got to check them out in person before deciding though

If it's darker than 35%, you won't pass yearly inspection here... unless you know someone who owns an inspection station or something... which I don't
