So I think I have a pretty good TL-S. Got her needing a lot of maintenance but low miles at 74k. Shes at 196K now.
I fixed all the things up I could. Timing belt with a needed shim at 100k, mostly all dealer service. Over the last two years got seals and Y pipe, and all other issues all dealt with. Doesn't leak a drop but burns some oil. Acura has always known about it and says its fine, always passes emissions and has clean plugs even after lots of miles.
Main issues are that the dash AC screen has a loose connnection and works sometimes, sometimes not. The oil consumption which is about 1qt per 2-3 tanks of gas. I think I have a small exhaust leak in the back but it passed inspection in Oct 21. Thats about it.
Brakes are good. Tires are good. Drives fast. Tight steering. Awesome TL-S. Paid for. Clutch is still awesome but is the repair that I dread.
I have an offer to sell me a 2016 Audi A6 3.0T V6 with the SuperCHARGER that has 58k. Price is 25K I have driven it for the last 4 days and it is quite the machine. Great in snow even on the 20s, didn't drive it in more than 3-4 inches though. 8 speed is different but not unpleasant. Motor is silky and strong but could be rowdier. Very comfy ride and I think good value.
So sell TL-S and get the A6 or stay in the TL-S?
The Silver is my 2nd TL-S. Dash still looks good. I cleaned the headlights up since this. They look much better.

Reason: Listed 2.0 instead of 3.0
I always get a kick out of people asking what they should do.
IMO, you should sell it instead of sticking several grand into it to bringing it up to par, and go into serious debt buying the Audi and learn all the things that can go wrong with it.
I’m slightly confused about the A6, someone is selling it to you for 25k? If so, how have you been driving it for the past 4 years?
hopefully you posted on an Audi forum too because everyone here (except me of course) will be biased.
Personally, I find the fact that the TL has a manual, it’s fun to drive, but I don’t have a daily commute, so I don’t need to deal with stop n go BS twice a day.
Also, I live in FL so AWD isn’t that necessary. As mentioned above, I would suspect the Audi would be more money to keep running. Also, in my area I don’t see too many old Audis roaming around, so I assume their upkeep cost or maintenance put them in the ground. With that said, guy I know has an older S4 (Maybe 2014?) that thing looks ragged out, paint is dull, yellow headlights but it’s still running well.
Saw your car on NH Craigslist. If I already didn't have two TL's I would be knocking on your door.
It's worth keeping to me, but you may be in a different situation. If you aren't doing at least some of the maintenance work yourself, or aren't mechanically inclined then move on.
The superchargers on the Audi engines dont have a good track record. It wouldn't be my first pick, but overall a nice car. Have you considered a 14 SH-AWD TL? Not great fuel economy but drive very nice, quiet, and powerful. You can also find them in a manual.
