Thoughts on lucas transmission additive for 2008 Acura TL?

I'm ignorant, is that something that should be used in this car? Just bought it, having a transmission flush Tuesday, the guy doing it for me told me the place he buys from for all parts is getting some in and asked me if I wanted it put in.

Don't know about Lucas but I can vouch for XADO additive for the automatic transmission in terms of shudder, rejuvenate and/or preventive maintenance.

Flushed? like having a machine hook up and flush all of the old ATF out?

Drain your transmission, about 3 quarts will come out; refill with 3 quarts of Honda DW-1; if you're concerned with the condition of the ATF in your transmission, repeat this procedure two more times with at least a few miles of driving inbetween. Doing anything else is a good way to ensure you're going to need to replace your transmission sooner than later.

Lucas is great in your VW Jetta transmission after 379K miles and you have less than 50 miles to make it to the dealership to trade it in before it croaks for good.
If you really wanted to do this, you could buy it right off the shelf at any auto parts store without having to wait for the distributor to come through for your guy. But why would you? Just no.
