For those having problems with their 04 6 speed
Most of you may have read my other thread regarding the problems I am having with my 04 6 speed TL. Turns out these problems are not unique at all, and in fact qualify for the lemon law. That is if you have been back to the dealer 3 to 4 times for the same problem.
I wanted to pass on the information that Acura ironically has given to me, in an attempt to resolve these matters. Here is the info I was given.
"BBB Auto Line, 1-800-955-5100._ You should have received a document titled "WARRANTY INSERT" with your paperwork, when you purchased your TL, which has all of the BBB Auto Line information outlined._ They should be able to answer your questions, regarding the cabin noise, and the Lemon Law."

Can you actually file a lemon law claim for something non-mechanical and non-functional such as cabin rattling? If so, I've already been to the dealer twice for noise in my steering wheel -- if I go back a third time, that'd make me eligible for the lemon law.
Yet, it'd be so much easier for Acura, the service department, and me to just to fix the problem!

Yes.. If it is a safety issue, it qualifies in 1-2 times back to the dealer to be fixed. All other issues, even minor rattling qualifies after 3-4 trips back to the dealer. Call the number for more info, and to file a claim.
At that point (that a claim is filed) Acura will have 40 days to resolve the issues, then it goes to an arbitrator.
