Yes, did a new belt with the UR Pulley. No problem.
There is a diagram on the Gates Belt Site. You've got to go through the fitment/part finder, but at the end, one of the links should be a routing diagram.
Basically get a wrench on the Tensioner Pulley and push it toward the frirewall to release belt tension. Slip the belt off.
Then just do the reverse for the new belt. Make sure it's routed correctly and centered on the pulleys.
You'll have no problem, but an extra set of hands is highly recommended.

so just looking at the belt and placement before i go and pick up a new belt, should i try to route it through the two big pulleys at the bottom first, then route it the rest of the way working my way up to the last pulley up top and pull the tensioner and do that last pulley that is on top....it looks like it might be a little tricky to get to the bottom end down there...are there any tricks??

FWIW (iirc) - we got the belt on/around the bottom two first, then routed through the middle, then over the top two while engaging the tesioner pulley.
Since we'd just changed the crank pulley, the wheel was off and the lower pulley's were exposed and easy to reach. I can see where that made the job a good bit easier.

hey bearcat,
I dont know why its making noise, but the belt or tensioner is making a squeaking noise during cold start ups....i am pretty sure its just the belt, when it was making noise i squirted belt dressing on it and it stopped....but i decided to take it in anyway, and have them redo my windo tint since that is warrany as well...
on the upside, they gave me an 09 loaner, and i can say without a doubt the type s is much cooler then the 09 base tl....i would have to drive an sh to see if that is better....
i will keep you posted as to what they say when they get done with my car...

Hey guys,
I'm about to change the drive belt on my TL and was just wondering about one thing; the auto-tensioner indicator in the diagram above. I can't seem to see this indicator anywhere. Is it a separate tool?
How tight should I tighten the auto-tensioner when I install the new belt?
Thanks!

hopefully someone can chime in, I am trying to reinstall the drive belt but the auto tensioner is not moving when I am turning the wrench counter clockwise on the tensioner. Does anyone have any tips?

Intermediate
I found the tensioner difficult to move without an extension to my socket wrench. Use a 2 ft pipe and push it toward the firewall...it should be no problem.

teamsol - make sure you're on the right bolt. There are usually 2 bolts on the tensioner, 1 for mounting and the other to turn for tension release.
i always use a breaker bar on the end of my wrench when moving the tensioner pulley
