I am sure you could find a bunch of used ones. And the last new 6pd is not in GA but instead in TN.
This is the dealer info of where the car is at. It is a NBP TLS with ebony interior. The Dealer states it has 6miles on the odo.

are you serious with this question? I know everyone hates Paragon Acura in NY, BUT they have so many TL's their and alot are 6spds. Broaden your search and you will find what you want.

I found one for you !!!!
SilverJ,
I was on my way home from work and decided to drive by Superior Acura in Overland Park, Kansas. I wanted to see a new 2009 TL. So I remember seeing this thread before I left work. So I asked if Superior had any Type S manual transmissions left and the salesperson said YES !!!
They actually have a 2008 NBP Type S in stock...believe it or not. I spoke to Rebecca Hernandez at Superior Acura. The phone number is 800-875-2287 or 913-648-5888.
Give her a call....quick!

There is no 6MT for the 09 (yet). It's coming next year as a 2010 model.

305hp and sh-awd sound great but I am sure it weighs alot more than the out going 07-08 TLS cars and then there is more drive train loss associated with with it being AWD. Ultimately I would like to see their 1/4 mile times and trap speed. I suspect that the new TL will be faster in time in the 1/4 mile but that the trap speeds will be very close to the old 07-08 TLS. With the advantage going to the new TL in the 1/4mile because of its launch from a dig. But from a roll it would be too close to call or maybe even favor the older 07-08 TLS. But this is all just speculation on my part I could be completely wrong.
But I do know someone who drove one of the newer ones and compared it to many other cars in the same segment and had positive things to say about it.

If im not mistaken, the sedans dont come with the oil cooler the 135i's & 335 Coupes are equiped with. So that would be a factor when the cars are being driven for several laps.
The TL is in the same price group as these cars. As is the CTS. Another car the size of a 5 series compared to these cars. The RL, isnt nearl as sporty as any of these cars and costs more. So its illogical to compare it. Outside of that, Acura doesnt plan to sell very many RL's, as they are barly giving them to dealers. approx 1,350 2009 RL's were given to the 270 Dealerships. 5 each for the 2008 calander year.
When i was given the opportunity to drive these cars. Acura had 7 cars there.
IS350, G35S, G35XS, 335Xi, 335i, TL, TL SH-AWD. i did not drive the G35S or the FWD TL. Of the AWD cars, the TL most the most confidence inspiring and felt more stable then any of the other cars. The G35Xs was a huge dissapointment, the chassis felt like spagetti compared to the rest of the cars. The Lexus steering felt very light compared to the rest of the cars. And the BMW's had the most aggressive traction control...which i hated, but its easy to turn it off so its almost a moot point. In terms of sheer driving dynamics, my fav car there was the 335i.
Interior wise, i liked the Lexus the best, although the Acura's seats were my favorite. I wish i had driven the G35S. My buddy who was with me did, and he came away very impressed with the RWD car. He also said the FWD TL felt a little quicker on take-off, but that may just be perception because it has a softer suspension setting.

thanks for that quote don from the other poster. interesting stuff.
i've been eyeing the 335's quite a bit lately. I have never liked BMW's...but the current body style design on the 335's (and that fucking 6 series too is hot!!!) is really growing on me.
I also have to agree on the interior of the Lexus. Since I really don't care for the 4th gen TL (including the interior, waaaaay too busy), my current TL will likely be my first and last TL. I'm thinking the IS350 (or the 250 for the MT) is going to be my next purchase down the road when im ready to give up my TL.
cheers.

Better yet, wait for the introduction early next year of the Pontiac G8 GXP. It will be available with a 6-speed manual and a larger displacement small-block Chevy than the current G8 (376 CID vs 360 CID). That plus 402HP and 402 lb/ft of torque ought to keep the faithful happy. The car is a dynamite looking machine and looks in every respect to be a real winner.

2008 TL-S 6SPD NBP
Not to many left in the Northeast. I purchased one of last NBP TL-S 6 SPEED
for $33900+OTD. I traveled close to 200 miles from NY to Boston to get it.

I got my 08 Type S 2 weeks ago and was dead set that my next car would be a manual.....told the sales guy if he found a manual I would sign the papers that day......checked about 8 states and not a six speed in sight.....but it was such a sweet car and the the 5 speed was so responsive, I took the car home anyway!

yea, I searched high and low for 2 months for a non-navi / base /6-speed....with low mileage, pre-cert, AND in NBP with camel interior....I almost gave up...finally ended up finding one in FL and took the grey-hound bus the next day...2months and a $50 bus ride was well worth it.
Thank god for Auto-Trader and it's auto-alert option. I seriously would not have had the time to search that long. I just set the options I wanted, the price I wanted, and bam, 2 months later, there she was, in my mailbox....
