Is there any best scratch reomver available?
Hello there, does anyone knows what is the best type of scratch remover to buy? I saw the commercial on TV, it it call Simoniz Fix It Scratch Remover from this website:
http://www.buyfixit.com/
If anyone tried this product or knows this product is good please tell me before I buy it. Please tell me if this thing really works. Thank you. If you tried other products please bring to my attention!

ScratchX from Meguiar's. Amazing stuff; I've used it a few times.

You'll get the best results by using a random orbital polisher, or similar.
The actual scratch remover depends on your needs. Do you want to remove haze, swirls, hairline scratches, heavy scratches...?
If you can feel it with your nail, you need more then a scratch remover to remove it. You'll probably need to take a trip to the body shop for anything to deep.
Although, like others said, your best bet is probably Scratch-X. At least as a first attempt.
Good luck.

+1 for Meguires ScratchX.. did a full detail of my wife's black Buick Rendevous last weekend, I clay barred it, then went over that with the ScratchX, and then waxed it with Mequires Synthetic Tech Wax.. The difference was amazing, I have pics at home, unfortunatlly I forgot to take before pics. Long story short the ScratchX works great for removing swirl marks with little effort.

Not necessarily, but it is too deep if when you (do this with your finger upside down) drag your finger over the scratch you can feel it. If you can feel it with your nail, you could use a compound and then work down to a light polish to minimize it's appearance. If it's too deep, then you'll probably need to either have it filled in and wet sanded down, or the whole panel repainted.
Just start with scratch-x, it may work!
Does anyone know if scratch-x contains any fillers, or is it just a pure polish?
