Switchbacks question

First off, I apologize for making a new thread for such a minute problem but searching did not return anything of help.

This could be a really stupid question...

I installed my switchbacks today, but I'm having a little problem. Instead of the parking lights being white, they are amber. My turn signals are also blinking white instead of amber. Did I install something wrong or did I just get the wrong switchbacks? These are the EXACT ones that I bought...

http://www.ebay.com/itm/121043789927...84.m1439.l2649

Just for additional info, I've already soldered the 24ohm resistor in place of the OEM shunt resistor.

Thanks!

Might turning the bulbs 180* and reinsert them work? Had a car once with dual "filament" that the bulbs would go either way and that determined which filament lit up.

I'll give this a try, but I don't think this is the case. They have offset beads that are on the side of the bulbs that only allow them to go in one way. Maybe switching sides of the car? Don't think that would do anything either.

I didn't know if the bulbs had the offset...if thats the case probably won't work. The ones I had just had the beads the same, with little round contacts on the bottom of the bulb that determined which filament lit.

Reverse the wires going to the socket or exchange them.

Man I guess so...I know a lot of people on here have had no trouble going with the ebay switchbacks though so I just assumed it was something that I was doing wrong.

James, I got my switchbacks from AutoLumination.com.

People have had trouble with them in the past. It took me a couple of times before I got bulbs that didn't burn out. But once I did, no worries.

yeah when you get car stuff. my rule of thumb is try to get stuff shipped within USA that way returns can be handled a little easier. also check out ijdmtoy.com for switchbacks. have ordered some leds from them with great results accurate descriptions. and many pictures to go by. hope this helps
