I still love this car the same as i did when i bought it on may 13, 2004 with 10.7 miles on the odometer. The new car smell is certainly long gone!

This transmission is rather strong in my opinion, and i haven't been extremely nice to her.

Anyone else with high mileage 5AT's?

Thanks for the info bro. It makes me feel good that I will beable to do the S/C on my TLS 5AT when I get it and make it last along time! Congrats.

Congats. Thats good to hear that the S/C has been good to you. I hope you get another 100K out of it. You got any videos of it. I'd like to hear and see it in action!

Good to see a high mileage modded AT running strong. I was a bit worried about trannies and still am with my 01 CLs, but I put 22k miles on my 04TL in 6 months, so they can definitely handle the mileage IMO. Although the gear ratios are exact same, seems like they somehow improved the tranny for the 3G TL as opposed to CL/TL. Good to hear.

Congrats on the high mileage 5AT. I recently turned 80,000 miles on my '04 5AT TL. Still shifts pretty well if you ask me.

Congrats Modimus Maximus!

Note: The new car smell is not long gone because of time and distance driven...it's because you threw it out with the rest of the interior!
