Question Suggestions for LED bulbs for backup reverse light

I feel like in dark setting, it's gotten harder to see out the back when reversing (no tints). Any good suggestions for backup LED lights? I want increased brightness, but not to the point of blinding someone.

Anyone have any good experience with Diode Dynamics on their TL's?

These are the ones I am currently running:
https://www.amazon.ca/JDM-ASTAR-Extremely-360-Degree-Chipsets/dp/B01F2MUPZ0/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1539404742&sr=8-2&keywords=jdm+astar https://www.amazon.ca/JDM-ASTAR-Extremely-360-Degree-Chipsets/dp/B01F2MUPZ0/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1539404742&sr=8-2&keywords=jdm+astar

Before I was using VLEDs bulbs which are now discontinued:

Compared to the VLEDs, the brightness is similar (which is disappointing kinda - you'd expect a bulb that was released recently to be brighter than a bulb you bought in 2013) but the colour is a cooler white.
I passed on the VLEDs to my parents RDX.
Both the JDMAstar and VLEDs LEDs are VERY bright - someone always comments on it.

I can imagine the new VLEDs 921 are much brighter.
HIGH OUTPUT WHITE 6 LED 921 - 921 - Shop Bulb Number

Check out the price though, 40 a SINGLE bulb...
For that reason I suggest the JDMAstar bulbs.

+1 for anything VLEDs makes. Never have had an issue, customer service is great, and the quality has been top notch.

i always get vleds, quality better than all. you get what you pay for. luckily i got the version just prior to their current one and it was on major sale. they are extremely bright and are perfect for backing up.

I use JDM Astar 921 LEDs and they are no joke, definitely very bright and a good price too. I've had very good luck with this brand in multiple cars and if one does fail for some reason they are very good about honoring their warranty. IMO options from VLEDs and Diode Dynamics are way overpriced for what you get. These are the ones I have:
