striped tachnometer?

Why is it that the blue line indicating the 2000 RPM on the tachnometer is dashed when all the others are a continuous line? I have only had the car for 5 days and I am wondering if I need to bring it in to have the dash looked at. Is everyone elses 2K line different than the rest?

I just went out and checked mine. It appears to be something in the lens that covers the tach rather than the line itself. If you move your head and change the angle of view you can see the lines moving from side to side. This is the only line that does that, so maybe there was a little glitch in the manufacturing process for the lens.

Oh good (I guess), then I won't bring it in. I can't decide if it is going to drive me crazy as time goes on or if I will get used to it
