Hi...

I own an 06 RBP TL..... and is about a year and 2 months old now. I live in Toronto.

I have a 3M ClearBra on my car and just yesterday i saw a white spot on the front part of my hood (near the grille).

I took a closer look and saw that a stone chip penetrated the clear bra...I didn't want to start pickin the spot for the sake that it'd get worse.

I don't have pictures but here is the best description I can give:

Imagine you used one of those screen protectors on the screen of a PDA or whatever and there's a small air bubble and you use your nail to pick at it and it bursts....leaves a white spot.

I don't know if it penetrated the paint...i'd have to start pickin the plastic more and i don't wanna do that.

What do I do?

Is re-applying the ClearBra too risky?

What should I do? I dunno if touch up paint would work either?

Man this sucks..... thanks for advice and tips.

First off before you do anything go see the company that installed it for thier comments. Also review the Clear Bra Warranty.

I feel your pain... I have tiny scratches on the front hood that needs repair this spring. But no paint chips yet.

RBP is awesome (when clean).

1 yr. and 4 months here...

Problem I found recently... there is a dent at the top of the door frame. How the heck did that happen? No paint damage... just a dent that is visible at a certain angle.

I guess it's not new anymore.
