Are stock floor mats the best? what would you get?

I have the Camel interior and want to switch to Black Floormats.
I like the perfect fit of factory mats but was wondering if someone has tryed a more robust(luxury) type mat that might be a better candidate, yet still fit like a stock mat?

Check these out. Click on the picture of the mat for a larger view.http://www.handa-accessories.com/tl.html

I have the parchment interior and I'm thinking of getting them, even though I live in Florida and don't have to contend with mud and snow.

They look like they are made like the trunk liner, but seem to be thicker and will probably last forever.

Does anybody have these yet? How do they look in the car with a lighter colored interior like parchment or camel?

I've had the Acura all season mats and trunk tray since last October and I am very happy with all of them. No dirt at all on the carpets for the entire winter plus they fit perfectly. I'm leaving all of them in for summer too as they compliment the interior (parchment).

That answers my question very nicely, thank you.

I think cutemp is asking for stock floor mat and not the all weather. I've not seen them selling anywhere.

Sorry about that. I never did think that the carpet mats werewhat he was asking about.

You can find them at this link. List is $125.00 for the set and wholesale is $107.50 + shipping. The set is item 7 in the picture.

I'm not too sure if shipping is free though. I think it is but I could be wrong.

I didn't actually go through the process of clicking the buy box and going further, but this link gives the shipping and handling charges, which, considering the weight of the mats would be the $5.50 minimum charge, plus the $4.95 handling charge, for a total of $104.50, plus the cost of the mats $107.50, for a total of $114.95, wouldn't be much cheaper than the $125.00 list price, which would be about $135 including tax, depending on your tax rate. Actually, a total savings of about $20.00.

Question

I like it fits my parchment interior well, IMO, but the no-edge front end of this all-season floor mat cannot hold any water. When the car is moving forward, the rain/water/dirty snow would flow to the front then overflow beneath. Something wrong?

I have RR/Parchment and purchased Black stock floormats from www.hondafloormats.com/acura/. It's College Hills Acura in Ohio. It was a smart move and I love the look. I also bought the trunk tray and saved mucho $$$. I think the black dash gives an option of going with the black floormats, even with such a light interior.

I agree, I also have Parchment interior and there is enough black in the car (dash and doors) that the black all-season mats look like they came stock with the car. They lock in place and fit like a glove.

well i have to say i agree with everyone who said the all season floor mats are great. i got myine off H&A accessories also, they are very good and have reasonable prices as oppose to going to the dealer. What makes these mats so great is they leave no room for dirt to get through. and also they have a high protective lip so if any liquid gets on the mats it will not spill onto the carpet. I also like the look that they add to the interior, gives it a more sporty look. if you ask me stick to the all season mats.

I have those all season stocks mats on top of some black martha stewart egyptian cotton bath towels - as good as the mat is, there's plenty of gap near the pedals for the mud to get to the carpet. can't wait for the black/white jailhouse towels to show up at kmart.

I just found some interesting mats at Bavarian Auto (bavauto.com) - it's made out of woven coconut fibers. googled and got this site: http://cocomats.mbz.org/Custom.htm

it looks like something i would try this summer - the current stock carpet mats really are cheapo.
