Eagle One Never Dull.

Comes in a metal/tin can, rip out some wadding, start scrubbing, and depending on how bad you need to put a bit of elbow grease into it. After it starts to haze over, like wax, wipe it clean and buff.....

I cleaned a set of exhaust tips on an S2000 that had not been cleaned in over 4 years and they came out looking brand new. It takes time and work, but it's worth it.

Yours dont look too bad. I'd say 20 minutes tops to do both tips and have a beer after.....hahaha

i really dont mean to hijack, but do you guys have rust on your exhaust tips? (mine is 10 months old with ~3800 miles, and the exhaust tips are rusty..and it hardly saw the winter season----sat in the garage 98% of the time)

neverdull FTW!!!!!!!! works wonders on any type of metal. As far as rusting, take it to acura if you think it is a manufacturing defect and they will have the entire exaust replace

probably just a mixed of dirt and all those other stuff. Mine just turned 3000 miles and since I dont have a garage its been outside...Mine still looks clean like the day I got it. Did you try cleaning it ?

Thanks johnny--2k... I bought the Eagle One Never Dull and most of it came off. I just have to scrub a lil bit more to get the rest off.

No problem!! Like I said, it does take some elbow grease, but you can get them to shine like no other.

ankur, try the neverdull, it may still work. The rust you see is most likely just surface rust, and it should take it off. The same thing happened to another S2000 that I worked on with an after-market exhaust, and it came clean right away. Give the never dull a shot first, if that does not work, then go to the dealer.....

BTW I used an electric drill to take off the rest... I wrapped the never dull cotton stuff around a piece that I do not know what it is called and used it with the drill to clean up the inside edge. It worked alot faster that way.

Thanks dude! Ill definitely try it. Most it does look like surface rust, but there was one area where an actual pit started to form...if it doesnt work, ill probably just go to the dealer and have them replace it out (under warranty of course! )

Trouble is its a low grade stainless steel ... good stainless doesn't do that but then again they won't put that on because of the cost.

NevrDull is the best bet like suggested. Steel wool or SOS are going to create marring.

I use really fine steel wool...and it leaves it smooth and shiny...and doesn't really take a lot of work...
