Spotted Nice 04-06 TL 6-speed on route 26 in Charleston, SC...Pictures of the ride!
As most know I travel a lot and when I was on my way home from Charleston, SC I spotted a pretty sweet TL. I always roll with my camera so as we were cruising at 80-85 I managed to get a few pics of your car.
Nice and clean. 6-speed, cleared out lights, drop, comptech exhaust, 19 inch ronjon legends, a-spec, 20% tint and a four legged friend drooling out of the back window. Did I miss anything??

All About Trance
^ If you hate drone, I'd advise against it. Otherwise, it's a great sounding exhaust and I've learned to live with that side effect on mine.

1. Tint needs to be darker
2. Who puts on window louvers with 3M anymore?
3. Exhaust hangs so low it looks like it should belong on a 99 Camry.
Other than that, sweet looking base TL.

04-06 TL with Brembos=6-speed.
I will have to agree with you on that one. A great place to visit and enjoy every part the SC coast has to offer you.
I guess the person who owns this car has lost interest in this site. He looks like he did everything he needed to get the car the way he likes it and now enjoys it.
I am almost at that point. Almost

Almost!
mmade22,
Just about nailed it on the head.
"6-speed, cleared and ssm color matched headlights, A-spec drop, Greddy exhaust, 19 inch ronjon legends liquid graphite, a-spec, 15% tint and my girl friend's four legged friend drooling out of the back window.
I noticed you coming down 78 and I was thinking "man, the first nice TL i see here in charleston and I don't have my camera. Were you at the Navy exchange earlier that day? I saw a white TL there and I'm pretty sure it might have been yours. Anyways I just back in town from thanksgiving and a funeral and of course the first thing I do, I jump online to see if it was anybody elses TL from the forums. you beat me to the jump! I still have a few things left to do though!

Finally you came forward!!! Yeah, I couldn't see you in the car with the tint being so dark. Nice car and yes I was at the Navy Exchange that day. I was fixing there machine they put in last week. Great looking ride. Did you notice the cop on 78 as you were getting on the road? When you saw me, I was 210 miles into a 430 mile trip.

I love coastal South Carolina and hope to one day retire somewhere in the area. I've seen most, but not all of it. Truly the best part of the east coast. California ain't got nothing on the low country.
And for you native SC'ers, don't worry. I am Southern born and Southern bred. Won't be any polluting of the local culture from me.

What exactly do you mean by the bold statement? Being a transplant from NY I chose to move to a southern place that is great. I spend my hard earned money on taxes and the local economy bringing it to life. Going on multiple trips to the shores and dumping a lot of hard earned money there as well. Am I polluting the local culture?
Without a majority of Northern Transplants, half of NC and SC wouldn't be what it is today........A well thriving, diversed area with a lot of wealth and business popping up with fantastic sales numbers year after year......It's what makes the world go round.

A good amount of students at CofC were from northern states, New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Mass., and for some reason a lot of people from Ohio and Indiana. Thats why I love Charleston, because its a melting pot of people from all over the country and everybody is there to have a good time.
I think Charleston is so popular because of its cultural diversity, liberal arts education and great opportunties for recent graduates within the pennisula/downtown area ....that and of course the amazing beaches.

The South has a unique culture, heritage, and tradition about it as do some other parts of the country. We are proud of this and all that goes with it and know it is a primary reason that people come here to visit and even to live. We would like to keep it that way. We would not like to have what has happened to some of the coastal areas of Florida, happen to South Carolina or other coastal Southern states. Basically what I am saying is if you leave some place such as New York or another part of New England, please adopt the Southern way and lifestyle so that we, and you, may continue to enjoy that which makes the South so special for us and for our progeny.
That's all, really. We would like the South to stay Southern.
Now I tried to make that as pleasant and inoffensive as possible. Hopefully I succeeded.

And the same thing could be said about people who are native to New England or Texas (very strong love of state there), or Montana. I would hate to see what has happened to parts of Florida, happen to South Carolina. There is a popular saying among native Floridians. "If you want to go South, go North".

Let me expand upon what I wrote but do it in a microcosm way.
There is a small "rural" town about 40 miles south of where I live, which puts it about 75 miles southwest of Washington, DC, called Culpeper. Generations of people have being born, grown up, and lived out their lives there, very content with their way of life. And then several years back, Culpeper was "discovered".
Close in and inside the beltway people suddenly found out that for a bit of a longer commute, they could have a 5000+ square foot home on several acres for a half a million dollars - quite a bargain in this area. So they began to move out to Culpeper and build.
Now Culpeper people had certain ways of doing things. Such as maybe having their morning coffee while firing at some targets in their backyard with a rifle or handgun. Being doing this all their lives as have many of their neighbors; no big deal. Until the outsiders came.
The new "neighbors" were not accustomed to hearing gunfire coming from other neighbor's property and rather than adjust to a local cultural thing, the set about to change it.. make it illegal to do this. So the town council was forced to hear their concerns and fears and consider what, if any, actions to take. It has once again raised its ugly head. Needless to say, the newcomers have not exactly ingratiated themselves with the local population.
I don't know the outcome of this, but I do know there is a saying that could have helped prevent any friction between these people; "When in Rome, do as the Romans".
