A-Spec question

How much does does the a-spec package lower the car? Second, for all you a-spec owners how is the ride compared to non a-spec. I can only assume that it is slighty rougher, but does anyone who owns an a-spec have any complaints about the roughness of the ride? I'm trying to decide whether to go full a-spec or just wheels and body kit. Thanks for the info.

3/4" lower. Ride is firmer, but still nice. You'll feel more bumps and imperfections in the road. No complaints here.

Articles that I have read describe it as an inch lower…but what's a quarter inch among friends. The car is lower than your typical car. There is a hard rubber air dam in the front of the car that extends 2-3 inches down towards the road below the body panels. You have to exit driveways slowly and optimally at a 45 degree angle to avoid scraping it but at least you aren't scraping the body, only the rubber air dam. I have yet to scrape the body. The air dam also scrapes over those cement parking blocks. I usually park backwards, which eliminates the scraping and allows for the necessary clearance. The ride is a little rougher than the stock TL but not unpleasant and with the improved derivability and performance (acceleration, slalom, g-force and breaking)documented in several articles it's totally worth it IMO.

Officially, the Aspec suspension lowers the car 0.6 inches.

You can't "currently" buy the A-Spec suspension separately. You CAN buy the comptek springs but that's mostly cosmetic and you would wear out your stock shocks much quicker. My dealer told me that the RSX A-spec suspension was released separately earlier this week. Retail of around $2,200 but it does include tires and wheels as well as the shocks/springs.
