For all of you who purchased the A-Spec pkg or parts from the dealer. What happened to the stock parts that were replaced? It seems to me you should be able to keep the stock parts since the A-Spec parts are not installed at the factory. The car was originally purchased with the stock parts right? I'm sure the stock parts could be worth some $$$ to help pay for other things. Just wondering.

Depends on if you ask them or not. The dealer will give 'em to you if you ask but many people don't know what to do w/ those parts so the dealer keeps them. I bought a set of struts from a mechanic that got them from the dealer that didn't want it. So he sold 'em to me for $60. Some dealers may sell them or put them on other cars that need their struts replaced.

the only parts that get replaced are the sides, everything else stays on the car

Perhaps you're forgetting about the steering wheel, shocks/springs, and wheels?

When I picked up my A-Spec the dealer gave me everything ... rims w/ tires, shocks, steering wheel, and the shift knob. I'm still debating what the hell to do with all this. Right now they are sitting in my garage collecting dust.

I was thinking of e-bay or something. I'm sure there are people out there who would like to buy those parts since you will not find many TLs at the local salvage yard and the dealer is too expensive.
