A-spec paint or fit first?

This is my first time ever posting here. I always love reading the forums and getting help as needed and I believe I have a simple if not obvious answer for my question but I知 not sure. I recently ordered a spec kit for my 07 type s and got them unpainted. They have not arrived yet but I知 still on the fence if I paint first then fit it because I know or have heard you have to sand a bit to have a perfect fit but I知 not sure. I always thought I壇 have to fit it first then remove them to have them painted then I can put them back on? If anyone has done the process or knows it well please help me out, thank you.

I personally would do a test fit to make sure you like the fit of them. Fine tune it then send out to get painted. Sounds like the smarter choice!

You can test fit if wanted, but not sure where you heard that the kit needed to be sanded. It does not. The OEM kit arrives ready to be installed, unless you got a knockoff somehow.

Yeah I値l certainly get it fitted first but I知 not sure. they are not oem Acura parts i know but I was unable to find that. I did manage to get oem style in which I the front and back I believe are fine but unfortunately I don稚 even have hardware for it but I値l manage to make it work. The side skirts tho are the same as in oem style and state it may need trimming or edge contouring. If anyone knows where I can get oem Acura which i thought was discontinued I will get them or even a oem style that doesn稚 need all that.

What color is your car? You may need to blend with the bumper to make it look really good

I figured it would just be color matched with satin metallic silver.
