I'm currently using the HFL system with an older T68i and the sound quality is less than impressive. One person said that it sounded like I was shouting at them from the end of a long tunnel. This was with almost full signal strength, the climate control fan turned down, and the windows all closed. I figure there are three possible sources for the problem: 1)poor coverage by my provider, 2) the phone itself, or 3) the HFL system.

I'm hoping it's the phone, but I'm wondering what other people's experiences are with the HFL as far as sound quality. I'm particulary interested in hearing from anyone who is also using a T68i. Also, I'm looking to replace it with a Z600 or a T630 so I'd be interested in hearing from anyone using those phones. I found a couple of messages using the search function, but not much.

Finally, I'm in the DC/No VA/MD area and I'd be interested in people's experiences with the various cell providers in the area. Thanks.

I bought my t68i with T-Mobile towards end of 2002 and people do not have any complaints with the HFL sound/voice.
