buy the things u need before...
use rtv silicone (clear) from autozone, you'll need 1 tube, but i'd say buy 2 to be safe, don't be stingy on the glue so you can seal it right the first time, if you see too much come out when you seal them back, wipe it down.
some didn't even use glue, they just used the glue already there, what i did was take off as much as i can, but you can go either way. if you reuse the glue, i suggest putting some of the rtv, not as much. this way you will need to reheat the glue to reuse it. oven or a heatgun (be careful with the headgun, the one i have gets really hot. buy one from harbor freight (rosemead blvd off the 210).
its relatively simple, just follow any diy since its the same for all cars. there's one written by soopa on the CL side, no pictures.
other than that, that's all i have to tell u guys, also try not to touch the chrome pieces... and might i suggest wetsanding your lens if you guys need to during the process since your headlights are off the car.
have fun guys

sunday march 9th is fine with me, as long as its weekends im good to go. One problem though - with so many people wanting to do this at the same time, we need someones house with a pretty decent sized oven... and lots of time to remove all the headlights hahaha

I recalled there used to be a place in Glendale that does headlamp retro. I forgot the name. His starting rates are $150 and up for a pair. If you want black housing or other colors it will add up. I can do it but I don't have time and I hate doing headlamps. I know people are picky about condensation or moisture and I don't wanna be liable for it. I rather do the tail lamp conversion.
I try to look for that info at Glendale.
