So yeah.... I messed up
So I bought an 06 TL 6spd and I must say, this is the most fun I have had in the drivers seat of a car since my Eldorado coupe. So much so that after having been in the driver's seat for about a week now I am thinking of pulling the trigger on a type S come april/ may and trading in the TL I just got. So yeah, that's where I messed up. I should have went with the type S from the get go. Oh well I guess, live and learn. ![Why Me](https://acurazine.com/forums/images/smilies/whyme.gif)

I will assess the situation and my finances around that time. The out look is looking good that worst case scenario is I will break even on the TL I have now as I will be paying aggressively on it.

Yeah it's all good though. I just gotta make it a few more months. Looking at going with an 08 cause it's newer and I want something with low miles. The CL-S finally copped out on me so I was kinda forced into getting a new car and couldn't take too much time looking around.

Not sure. The dealer said the battery must have been disconnected and it caused it to throw an error. They just went in a cleared it and now it's all good. I am going to replace the brake pads in a couple weeks (got some squeaking on light brake application) and will be putting some magik juice in er to get me through till the trade up.

Dude, you didn't mess up. If you find the Type S you like and want, it's just another upgrade.

Like he said above, but also including NAV w/ Backup camera, ANC (active noise cancelling), different rims, quad exhuast, better suspension, and some other stuff....

yes but unless you go 6m/t.....the 04-06 base 6m/t is just as powerful as the auto type-s.
Like Hi speed was saying, its not much different in terms of power.
I personally like the blue ambient lighting better than red.
and I love my single tone interior, where as the type-s has a two tone ugliness!
All in all its the same damn car, with little updates. but those updates dont make me want to go out and trade up.

Not too worried about pricing etc. I don't see myself going upside down as I am paying aggressively on it. I just came to the conclusion while driving the TL I have now, is that I want something with all bellz and whistles and with lower mileage that I can maintain and maintain it right.
