So Pissed at Acura Customer Care

So I contact Acura Customer Care to get a goodwill repair on a cracked bushing on the front end suspension ($400 repair otherwise) because the dealer told me my bumper to bumper warranty was up when it in fact wasn't. Now I'm out of warranty and I'm upset because I could have had it fixed if I knew the car was still covered.

Anyway long story short the customer care rep gets a smart ass attitude with me because I told him I probably won't buy another acura. He says then why would we goodwill the repair. My answer was because you guys mis informed me of the repair in the first place. He was a dick. I told him I'm not kissing his ass to have this repair goodwilled. I don't kiss ass for anything or anyone. So we'll see if they approve the request. I doubt it but honestly at this point it's about principle. I'll fix it myself shit it doesn't affect the driving of the car until it's cracks all the way through and even then it's barely.

You need documentation. When did you go in? When was your warranty up? Show them some proof and maybe they'll give in. If not, you can always bring up the L-word.

^ Oh I was being super nice until the asshole started acting like he was king of the shitpile. He seemed like one of those people in which you give them a little authority and they run with it.

Wait. Need more clarification. You called ACS requesting goodwill assistance for a warranty issue that was covered under a warranty the dealer stated was up but it fact had not expired?

yes crazy huh....they said the warranty was up and had actually not expired. Then when I went in for a tranny fluid flush they told me I had up until 65k which it was 600 miles outside of that. Previously they told me 62k which screwed me on getting the dash lights, etc fixed under the bumper to bumper warranty.
