So I did it again. I have serious issues!
I know some will probably hate on me, I know some will just think to themselves why??!? and others will probably think im just crazy. Well obviously everyone else was dragging their feet while I got my ass on an airplane to see this car. After many days of back and forth with the owner and LOTS of questions I decided to go for it. I thought to myself, there will never again be a chance to find a MRP with ebony interior, 6mt, with high performance tire package, and 5,000 miles EVER AGAIN. I obviously have no problems selling my cars so I thought why not. Even though I had some bad experiences with my previous 6mt Type S's, this one seems awesome so far. Maybe the other ones were ragged on which I guess is obvious considering I had to replace the clutch at 62,000 miles in one of them, but for whatever reasons im digging it again.
Like many of you in that original thread about this car, I had a lot of hesitation at first because of its unusual history, but no matter what I did I just could not stop thinking about it, and I am EXTREMELY glad I didnt. I am now the owner of a 2007 MRP 6mt Type S purchased yesterday with 5,090 miles. After going over every part of the cars interior and exterior the owner was right, Honda Corporate pretty much left this car alone. It basically looks, smells and drives like a new car. I know my actions dont show it, but this may be the TL that I finally keep. The cool thing is, my 08 CBP Type S is just as clean as this 07 with the exception of 25,000 more miles (also extremely low miles). Its going to be hard to let that one go if thats what I decide to do.
The seller of this MRP Type S said there was one other serious buyer from the forums and I just got in my offer and was on a plane very quickly. So hopefully no one is pissed off, but I had to have this one.
I drove the car home 11 hours yesterday and have done nothing but give it a quick washing today. Its so new that there really isnt anything else to do. After I washed it I glanced at the under carraige and couldnt believe my eyes!!! I will let the pictures speak for themselves.

I told you that you would get this MRP
, knowing you having trouble staying out of low mileage TL, BTW would you mind to post some close up pics of the damage that you stated in the other thread.

I went all throughout the entire car and see no other signs of any screws or bolts being removed so I was very happy about that as well.
Thanks for the compliments!
I do, I won't deny that. My wife thinks I'm an idiot.

WDP and ASM I have not owned. No offense to the white or silver guys but neither of those colors do it for me on the TL. I love all TL's, but those are the two colors I can't see myself buying. I know a lot of guys feel the same way with MRP, but it's a color I have always loved.

Nice pick up bro...I have been reading your posts every now and then so I know you have been through a collection of tls. I think that's awesome. As sick as it sounds but I would do the same if I had money like that. I hope you keep both tls and don't get rid of either one..

For what its worth I had full intentions of keeping my mint 08 CBP and have not visited autotrader or cars.com, but one of you guys had to go and post a link to some crazy low mileage 6mt Type S.... So really, I blame you guys ;-)

LOL.....buddy, you are so funny!
Congrats on this one.....how rare too. MRP Type S, 6 speed.
But, I wouldn't want to have your problem...............trying to decide which car to drive each day.

edit: now that i'm done laughing my ass off - when I saw the title of this thread and the person who posted it, I had about 85% certainty that I was about to open a thread about buying another 6mt type-s. Dunno why, but I just KNEW that's where this was headed.
