Thanks for letting me know bro. I actually went to this guy today, said he could possibly get a 05 aspec from the states. I will get the car fully checked out from acura if I do decide to buy.

No problem. I personally don't think I trust those guys 100%, although they said they don't really have a problem with me bringing a car to my mechanic for an inspection and they do provide a Carproof report with all their vehicles,

I just bought a 05 AM Dynamic from Fairview Acura this weekend, so I've probably looked at most of the 6 speeds TLs you're looking at as well. Skip the 04 SSM 6 speed with 70,000km at Executive Auto Group (Concord) for $18,000ish; it's pretty beat up and dirty.

Acura on Brant just listed an 04 AM 6 speed on Autotrader with no mileage or price listed. I called on Saturday and it's got 83,000km and they're asking $22,900 for it as a CPO vehicle. The guy said it's a clean car with no previous accidents, looks pretty good with the pictures he posted too. Might be worth checking out.

Robinson GM in Guelph has a 04 AM Dynamic with the A-spec kit and gunmetal A-spec wheels (comes with a set of regular wheels too) for $24,900. That car's got 61,000km or so but have been in an accident (around $4-5,000 worth of damage). It looks good and the interior is clean, but the last owner put in an aftermarket Alpine deck and moved the radio/climate control screen down to where the 2 storage bins were.
This car was over my budget, and I didn't like the radio and climate controls setup so I passed on it. Might be worthwhile for you to check out though.

Congrats on the purchase! Kris, how much did you get 05 TL for. That is exactly what I was looking for . AM 05 manual dynamic pkg lol. Either that or I would like a wdp, and my budget is around 20k. I'm trying to stick with 05 and higher, so any 04 Im generally not looking at. But I'm in no hurry to buy right now, so I will take my time looking around. If you can remember any other cars that you saw that are good let me know! Thanks for the help.

I am looking at switching from my G35 M6 coupe to a TL 6 speed as well (I need a FWD year round driver in Canada).

Kris, if you can let us know what ball park to pay for a car similar to your purchase, that would be great. Sounds like you are located near me (in the GTA).

Hey guys, sorry for the late reply.

I too was looking to replace another vehicle. My DD is a Corolla, but since I live 5km away from where I work I want to give that car to my dad who has to drive across the GTA everyday in a 01 Odyssey. I also have a supercharged 1994 Taurus SHO, but I can't and won't drive that as a DD, so the TL it is.

The 05 I got was a high mileage lease return, thing got 120k km on it so it was listed at a much lower price than other Acura CPO. It was listed at $20,900 and I purchased it at $19,500; I know for sure that someone who can negotiate could have gotten the car for $19,000 or less, I just wasn't that person.
I live in Mississauga, the car was at Fairview Acura in Kitchener and was the lowest listed 3rd gen CPO TL I've seen listed by any Acura dealer in a couple of months (the car is in great shape inside and out though, the front bumper is a bit tired from the highway miles, but the rest is very clean).

If you guys are not in a hurry, I'd wait till the 4th gen is out. I'm sure there'll be a larger amount of 3rd gens on the market once that happens and prices will drop accordingly.

SSTL, I was actually looking to get a WDP as well, but the AM won out in the end since it hides dirt better, and most WDP have mis-matched bumpers...

I think I got an okay deal for a CPO, but you can definitely get a far better price buying from a used car dealership.

there was a guy in Brooklyn selling an... 05 i think, with like 80ish on the clock.... i think he was below $15k on the price... it was clean as hell w/ aspec kit..

check the black market, seemed like a good deal
