Finally decided i want to buy the 6spd tl type-s. Unfortunately there's not a single kbp type-s 6spd anywhere. To late in the model year to order one. Now I have to either settle for another color or buy a 5at. SUCKS HUH?!!

I just drove 1,200 miles round trip to get the color I wanted. I evidently found one of the very few red 6 speeds outside of California in Virginia. I drove 600 miles on Friday, then came home in the 07 on Saturday morning.
Worth the trip - the car has < 10K miles.
I would not rule out used cars in your search. I was all geared up to get a black 08 6 speed - even had the dealer down to $33,500 (plus taxes and fees). However, when you buy a new car (and live in Kentucky) you have to pay sales tax on the entire cost - as opposed to paying only on the difference when buying a used car and trading. This added another $1,300+ to the bottom line (and it was not exactly the color I wanted). Different states have different rules on this, but it was one of the deciding factors in my decision. I basically got the car I wanted for $4,500 less than the new one.
Happy hunting!

Thanks! I was kind of forced to find an '08. I'm leasing the car only because of the potential of there being an awd type-s in 2011. If not I just keep the car I really wanted instead of the runner-up.

The dealers around my area are always short of 6MT TL's. Seems like the AT outsells the MT in most areas. I love my MT...so good luck finding one in a color you like.
