last night i pulled up next to a white RXS (dont know if it was type s or not) but i rolled down my window and asked him if he wanted to go. light turned green and he punched it. i wasnt prepared but caught up in 2nd gear. i slow to a crawl at the next light for it to turn red and he stops with. he was like i didnt know you had a type s. so we run again. i have a 02 tl-s with the dubs on and catback, cai,throttle body spacer. he sounded like he had a turbo and some serious exhaust. so to the second run. light turns red. he gets me from the dig up to when i shift to second, then run to red and shift to 3rd and by that time i am about a bus length ahead of him. i keep on the gas up to about 100mph and he is about 3 buses back then.....needless to say he quickly turned off! i dont know what he had under the hood but it didnt sound stock at all!!

I doubt he had a turbo if you smoked him that bad, it probably was a modded base RSX.

i had great satisfaction considering my car proly weighs about 4000 lbs with rims/stereo

oh and i have an auto, but i can gate shift like a pro. proly why i got him so bad!

It was a modded base. A stock RSX-S will take your TL. With turbo, you wouldn't even be able to touch the car...it'd be long gone. Now all this would be false if the driver had a RSX-S...but sucked terribly in driving..

he had had his window up...had him roll it down and asked then by that time the light was turning green and he had a stick!! im auto. LOL! got him all 3 times!

Good kill for the ego. But even I can kill a modded base Rsx with a K24 auto. You are right about the weight though.

I took that into consideration but between you and I with the mods we have I think there's still a difference of a little less than 100hp. So like I said even I can smoke a base Rsx with minor mods.....

It was probobly a base RSX that had mods. Your TL-S without 20's would take a RSX-S stock but not with those heavy rims lol. Good kills!

i dunno what he had but it sounded mean for a RSX I could hear his engine over my CAI....oh and dubs are off now and forever so id like to see him again for shits and giggles...

Yeah when we had a Rsx-s in inventory at my dealership with CAI and exhaust I got to drive it a lot and those things scream. Especially in vtec! They're just a high reving sounding engine, even if you're around 2-3K rpms it's still pretty loud.
