smoked headlights?

In some of the pics that im seeing on the site is that the headlights are smoked. Is that a film tint or is it an aftermarket headlight that i would have to purchase? If not how can i get the "smoked"effect without spending some mad cash....plz help

There are no aftermarket headlights, YET, for the 3G TL. I believe some of the ones on the site are done by autoshops. And I think others are a film purchased from rockblocker.

www.stickercity.com good DIY I'm thinking of buying a smoked bulk roll but i dont know if it's better than Rockblocker as far as application, looks, fading or removal. I think Rockblocker is a lot cheaper but u could probably make your $ back doing a couple friend's lights

rockblocker film is fairly easy, becuase you just apply it like normal and cut it (or leave whole housing filmed if you want I guess

but it doesn't make it colorless, there is still a definite color.

i did the film but i'd still like to get them cleared and smoked correctly some day... no leads on a place to have it done though around here, no one knows.

I would think supporting online vendors here is always better than buying from some company elsewhere Not to mention we are having an ALL TL sale this month for you guys

Please remember folks that this is not just a film. It is a high impact resistant film that prevents braking and/or pitting of the lense. It just happens that we offer it to you in colors such as smoked. Also available in clear, yellow or blue

4 year bump?

Check the 3G Garage for DIYs on blacking out your headlights. It's fairly easy.

Does blacking out the headlights reduce the range of the lights?
