Car looks really good and clean! I'm assuming you already bought it?
I think that's a pretty good price for it. As long as it drives good, no transmission problems and a reliable shop did repairs, it will last you more then 6 years
Awesome color combo!

be aware that voids most of the warranty except certain safety items- check with acura to be sure
also call you insurance agent- can you get theft, or other comprehensive coverage-- even with that title?

you can pay for a local independent inspection to be done on the car; but isn't it too late. the seller may not allow it?

Assuming it has a salvage title due to an accident- you are [buying g a car that had so much damage to it that an insurance company decided it was not worth it. Total it again and you will likely get 50% of the value due to the salvage title. I work with salvaged cars every day and have never ran across one car with a salvage title that I could not find at least one huge issue with. Most rebuilders are good at hiding issues but if you know where to look you will find them.
Plus, you've never seen the car. I know you want the car but trust me when I say its not worth it.

Here is some info for you:
T[he salvage on this car was processed through IAA in Tucson. You can go to their website and register to see the salvage history on the car. There will be pictures of the damaged car as well. Their inventory stock number was 5541045.

i know i am taking a risk but for that price...it might be worth it, BUT you work with these type of cars so it a really tough decision for me

I guess you really need to find someone to check that car out for you. I've owned several salvage cars and never had a problem, some of my friends on the other hand had many problems. Tough call but the price is cheap for that year and mileage.

Doesn't look terrible but I'd pass...I bet it was a bondo repair as well on the unibody rear quarter. If you do get someone to inspect it.. have them check out the lca on the driver's side including all the linked components. Have them check for ATF leaks around the AT case.. then have them take a little fridge magnet and go over the damaged areas.. $5 says it doesn't stick.
edit: the rear passenger airbag deployed as well.. get it checked.

what did the parts list say about the airbages?
A reputable company will know a seperate place to do an evaluation for you
The other thing of concern is transmission damage from sudden side impact shoving the driveline towards it
Could be internal bearing damage or problems with cv axles--are those new too?
frames can be pulled straight, but I personally dont trust a future beer cans structure after a big sideslap accident like this one
Looks like they drove up the side of a semi,,but how to get roof damage too???
bizarre
Have you looked in `Member cars for sale` section yet- post a WTB ad there

IMO...if you're going for looks...get it ...the TL is beautiful anyway...the auto shop did a good job making it pretty. BUT, that's not hard to do with this car...if you need a dependable car, and it sounds like you do. Then like someone else said buy a used one from a seller, you may pay 3-5k more, but you have peace of mind AND you have more of a potential for resale value (you should consider this). Either way, choose wisely...you can only spend it once!!

I bought my 3G TL for less than 12.5k more than a year ago, it had more miles but a clean record.. Definitely pass on this.. They didn't mention replacing the driveshaft and that type of accident definitely took a toll on the shaft and maybe the wheel bearing as well, not to mention the steering rack..

From the looks of the auction, it's already sold. If you are the ebay buyer, technically, you are bound to the purchase, unless you find the seller didnt describe the car fully. From his description, It looks like he did pretty well. Thats why you are supposed to have it inspected BEFORE you buy, especially on a salvage car.
If you look at his ebay feedback, you can see some of the parts he purchased for the repair. As someone mentioned earlier, look at the front fender where it meets the lower rocker. Doesnt line up at all. The frame is probably still tweaked a bit, causing these body lines to be a bit off.

I agree I noticed that picture to. In the far pictures it looks ok but damn when you look at the details it looks NASTY. None of those panels line up not even close.
I dont know why people buy salvaged cars. Ok so you get an OK deal but then after that whats left? Your stuck with a car that is likely going to have issues, A car that is FAR from perfect and each and every day the issues are gonna bother you, its hard to insure salvaged cars, and as far as selling it down the road....well, goodluck.
To me thats a lot of money for a wreck when you could have bought an identical 04/05 with perfect clean title for barely anymore.

did anyone else notice that it's missing a lug nut in that last pic that was posted?
id pass on this car, as others have said the frame probably wasnt aligned correctly, which is why the front 1/4 panel isnt aligned properly.
