Hey I have a 05 tl automatic. I need to replace the front pads and rotors. Dont need anything fancy(slotted or drilled) just something that wont warp and of good quality. Any advice?

i'm not sure about the 3G's but some names are Rotora, Brembo, Racingbrake, etc. I'm sure you will get a more helpful answer when everyone else gets home from work.

Rotor warping is most often a result of improper torque and over torque of the wheels lugs.
Any rotor can be trashed with a bad install
Commonly confused with pad debris buildup from light braking or extended use in traffic.

For good quality rotors a really good price I would use the NAPA auto parts American made ones. Not the cheaper chinese made ones. Napa offers AAA discount too!

For pads I always say Hawk HPS- they really stop good in all conditions and still low noise low dust

I have an auto and I replaced my pads and rotors for that same reason. I purchased a set of bremo rotors and PBR organic pads and haven't had the rotors warp again. Its been about 40K since I did them. With the OE equipment they would warp at about 17K

PS I purchased Brembo rotors that would fit the auto TL.
