simple climate-control question...

(NON NAVI) - i can't seem to get it. if i simply want to turn on the "fan" (no A/C) what button can i hit? there is no fan button. seems pretty silly to have to hit the A/C button once (which turns the compressor on) and then again to turn it off and keep the fan running.

is there a way to do this. i tried just hitting the fan spped up button... but again it atomatically turns the compressor on.

thanks in advance... bags!

You can hit the fan speed button first, which will take it out of AUTO. Then, if it doesn’t say A/C OFF, which depends on the mode you were previously in, you can hit the A/C button to turn the A/C off.

Sorry for the extra work but you will have to hit that A/C button sometimes. But this way you only have to hit it once.

Ron if i understand you correctly... even when you hit the fan speed button... the compressor will still kick on... until i hit the A/C button again to turn it off?

i'm not lazy adn don't have any problem hitting th ebutton multiple times... i simply feel like this is un-due stress on the compressor. no?

after you've set the AC to Off, the climate control settings will remember your setttings the next time you get in your car. weve been getting cool mornings here in VA and ive had my AC set to Off for quite some time now. hope this helps! :twocents:
