Should I switch to high mileage engine oil after hitting 170k km?

I bought my car with 170k km not miles and i currently sit at 80% engine oil life.

Should i just use normal synthetic oil or switch to the high mileage formula?

Pennzoil High Mileage Vehicle - Pennzoil

what do you guys think?

I switched to Mobil 1 High Mileage last year and haven't had any issues whatsoever.

Do you use oil between changes? I have a '97 Prelude SH that is definitely a candidate for "High Mileage" oil- even with the JDM H22A I put in last year. The oil is supposed to resist burn off.
I'm new to my TL, but do not expect it to use oil in the same way. My reaction is "High Mileage" oil is an option, but don't think our engines are not quite what they had in mind. (Think 80s US badge 4s- sorry Detroit, but does anyone still have one running?)

I'm at 183K miles with 7.5K oil change intervals (per the MID). Still running M1 0W20 or Pennzoil UP, whichever is on sale/rebate. Uses about 1/2 quart between changes. I see no reason to switch if you're not burning oil, but there certainly wouldn't be any harm in doing so.

I always use full synthetic 5w20 or 5w30.
I've noticed full synthetic burns less than conventional oil and makes me feel the engine is getting it's required lubrication at all times. Worst case you add about a quart of fresh synthetic oil in between oil changes.
The oil filter should be good quality. I'm happy with the Denso oil filters, they have a great construction and quality.
