So I'm looking at a black 2004 Acura TL No-Navi and in good condition with 80,000 miles for $11,000. Is this a good deal? I'm looking to find an Acura TL before I head up to school (around the last week of August) and my budget is around $10,000.

IMO I would definitely get it, but check the carfax. Also make sure that it is in a great condition and that nothing needs to be replaced. Soon you will prolly need to change the timing belt.

that's a great deal, but be careful of cars that are low price and have been listed for many months. There might be a reason why a low priced car is listed multiple times and has not been sold for months.

 

Good deal, but check the Carfax and all the vin numbers on the car, front, rear, and doors.

 

well my friend got it at an auction since he sells used cars

it came straight from the acura dealer, i'm guessing it was a returned leased? so it should be legit.

i'm going to go to the auction next week to see if i can find a better deal, if not then i might just stick to this car.

for my budget around 10-11g's, what other sedans would you guys recommend that is on par with the TL. i know this is an acura forum so it may be a bit biased but i'm also open to other choices. 04+ Maxima maybe?

 

Thats a great deal. I wouldn't sell my 04 base with 80,000 that cheap. Ofcorse I don't want to sell my car period. Its in terriffic condition. Carfax it and go over it well.

 

incredible price. There are trans issues with some 2004 TL's. I would check this with a fine toothed comb before a purchase IMO.

 

Alright good news guys! and sorta bad news.. well i wasn't able to get ahold of the 04 TL with 80,000 miles on it. So I went to the auction and picked up an 05 WDP TL with Navi @ 95,000 mile for $11,900 before tax and fees. The exterior is very clean and the interior is so-so. I'd give it a 7/10. Can anybody run a carfax for me? I want to check out the vehicle's history.

Yeah the other one got sold, but yeah I'm pretty happy with this one.

Anyway so I have a quick question about the TL, can the TL download my blackberry's phonebook into the system through bluetooth?
