3000K hids = more functional, you can see better in rain/fog/snow/sleet
4300K hids = MUCH less functional, you will not be able to see anything more than you would in rain/fog/snow/sleet. For an example, turn on the high beams when its really foggy, you can't see SHIT!
5000K and above, just gets worse than 4300K

If by Blue you really mean BLUE - we'll that's just a ticket waiting to happen.
tends to frown on cars with lights that are the same color as theirs.
Edit - BTW, I've had both the Blue-ish White (7000k) and Yellow (2300k). Currently running yellow. Both look good.

Unless you do HID's, there is no way to even come close to matching your headlights to your fogs. If you do yellow fogs, it will give a great contrast to your lights and also be a lot more functional. I did the PIAA Plasma Ions for my fog in both my TL and my wife's Pilot and it looks great. The only thing is I wish there was a way to run the fogs by themselves without having to wire up a mod to it!

Yea, it would be nice to run the fogs without the headlights. For my yellow fogs in didn't buy yellow bulbs. I'm running stock white bulbs. I installed yellow plexiglas into the bumper bezels. This protects the fogs from rocks and such. The only thing is, they are always yellow. But I like the look.

Not a big fan of the yellow, I like the crisp white light myself. If it gets too foggy to see, I'll just pull over and wait. More time in the TL for me anyway.

Get Yellow dude, I have the 05 TL and my fogs are in my headlight housing, I had yellow, i loved the way it looked when looking at the car, but it was making everythign yellow in front of me which I didn't like. In the end I went with 8k.
If you have the lower bumper fogs then definitely go with Yellow, it looks awesome and definitely better visibility.

just my
, the yellows might be a better option. a lot of people egged me out of getting a blue fogs, simply because they don't match my stock xenons in color.
